Cushioned Products
What information is needed to get a free quote?
Straight Gate Arm Cover: The dimensions of the gate arm: height, width, and length you want covered (example: 1” wide x 4” high x 60” long). If round or octagon, provide the circumference of the arm plus the length.
Folding / Articulating Gate Arm Cover: Same information as above but separate measurements for the inner arm that is from the folding mechanism to the control base and the outer portion of the arm from the folding mechanism to the end. When measuring the gate arm we recommend leaving a 2″-3″ clearance from the folding mechanism on both the inner and outer arms to avoid possible interference when the arm is in motion.
Column Cover: Square or rectangular columns – The width, length, and height to be covered. Round columns – The circumference and the height to be covered.
Bollard Cover: Circumference and the height.
Are reflective stripes included?
Yes - you have a choice of reflective red or reflective silver, at no additional cost. Reflective stripes are 2 inches wide, OSHA approved, 3M brand reflective tape.
What standard vinyl colors are available?
Standard colors - Red, Yellow, Black, White, Blue, Forest Green.
How is vinyl protected from the sun?
All the vinyl in standard colors is UV coated at no additional cost!
What is the normal turnaround time for custom products?
Four weeks from when the order is received to when it is shipped via UPS ground. For an additional fee, a rush order can be considered.
Can you custom-design a padded cover for things other than gate arms, columns, and bollards?
YES! Email a picture or rough sketch and dimensions of what you want to be covered and we will give you a price.
How thick is the inner foam?
The standard thickness of the inner foam is 1/2" thick. However, custom foam thickness is available. Other inner foam thicknesses, such as 1", must be specified when ordering. Contact us for specific information.
How does the padded cover attach to the column or wall?
A 2" Velcro strip is sewn into the column pads. The pads wrap around the column and then Velcro into place. Additionally, grommets can be added to any pad, in 12" increments. This works well for wall pads as it allows you to hang pads on the wall.
Can I get cushioned products with graphics?
YES! Custom graphics and lettering are available. Contact us for a specific quote.
Light Pole Guards - Poletector 360
What is the standard size of the Light Pole Guard?
The standard Light Pole Guard fits a round concrete light pole base that is 24 inches in diameter (which is a little over 75 inches in circumference).
What if my light pole base is smaller than 24 inches in diameter?
Light Pole Guard can be made with special inserts to ensure a snug fit on your specific light pole bases.
Are the Light Pole Guards easy to install?
Yes, each Light Pole Guard comes with detailed installation instructions and all of the materials you will need for installation.
How long will it take to ship?
Since these products are made to order, the usual production time is approximately 2 to 4 weeks.

How do I install the Clearance Bars?
We ship the Height Guards with 2 eye hooks installed in the product. You supply the chains.
What makes your Clearance Bars so great?
Height Guard clearance bars are actually made from two sleeves. The unit ships in two pieces (which dramatically reduces shipping costs) and is very easy to assemble.
What lengths are available?
The standard Height Guard clearance bar length is 80 Inches Long. However, custom widths and lengths are available. Contact us for specific information.
What is the custom graphics kit?
The graphics kit has everything you will need to make the following wording: CLEARANCE X' XX" The kit includes the word "Clearance" plus:

What is the purpose of the reflective tape on the sleeves?
The reflective tape actually increases the visibility of the sleeves. During the day the reflective tape offers a color contrast increasing visibility. At night the increased visibility comes from the tape being reflective.
Will I need to purchase any installation material?
No. We send all of the needed installation material; so no additional tools are needed.
Why should someone buy a bollard cover?
Bollard covers eliminate the need to scrape and paint the existing pipe bollards. When you paint a post, and it gets scraped, it looks ugly until the next time that you paint the post. Scraping and painting a bollard usually costs about $15.00 to $25.00 to paint each time.
How long will it take to ship?
Orders normally ship within 3 business days of being placed. Normally the sleeves will arrive within 3 to 5 business days.
What are the inside diameters of the covers?
4.5" = 4.72", 7.0" = 7.0", 8 7/8" = 8.81", 10 7/8" = 10.87", 12.75" = 13.0"
What material are the sleeves made from?
HDPE – High-Density Polyethylene Plastics
Are the sleeves guaranteed against fading?
For 6 years. Post Guard covers contain the maximum amount of UV protection.
What if I have a 2" or 3" post, won't the 4.5 covers be too big??
Not at all. Tell us the actual size of the post that needs to be covered, and we can ensure the proper installation material is shipped to you for a secure fit over the post!
How easy is it to cut down a Post Guard Sleeve in the field?
Post Guard sleeves are easily trimmed by using a variety of electric and manual cutting tools.
Can I order the Post Guard covers without reflective tape?
Absolutely!!
Will the Post Guard covers protect vehicles from door dings?
After installation is complete, the Post Guard covers will virtually have a thin layer of foam between the outside of the steel and the inside of the plastic.
